An unattached witch’s chin, four chickens’ feet and a kelpie of burden

I was just passed an unattached witch’s chin. Yesterday I went out for shopping and came back with a bag of chickens’ feet. I’m about to sew part of a squirrel to a leather mask and am pondering the practicalities of riding a kelpie. It must be summer.

    1. It is! I’d forgotten that game! Well, our list for Unicivilisation is the weirdest yet. The chickens’ feet aren’t for me, that’s all I can say. There may be photographs to share afterwards. And riding the kelpie’s going to be tricky, which is all part of the Spectacle of it all… The Chukchi story has now been learned, the drums are packed and I’ve been drilling holes in slates all afternoon. A fine day. Now for a river-swim…
